Do you suffer from a fear of death?
Are you interested in how an online treatment could help?
Take part in a new trial led by researchers at the University of Sydney.
We are looking for participants to take part in our research.
Our study will test a new online psychological treatment: Overcome Death Anxiety.
We will be examining how effective this new treatment is at reducing the fear of death, compared with a waitlist control condition.
What will the study involve?
A short online pre-screening questionnaire to see if you might be eligible
A telephone or video interview to confirm your eligibility (approx. 2 hours)
If you are eligible, you will be randomly assigned to either the treatment condition or the waitlist control condition
The treatment consists of 7 online modules which can be completed at your own pace from any computer. The modules are based on cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT). If you are in the waitlist control condition, you will receive access to this treatment at the conclusion of the study
We will ask you to fill out some questionnaires at the start and end of the treatment
To see if you are eligible, fill out the screening questionnaire now:
